Guided visit of Tikal National Park with a professional guide. Park entrance fee (may or may not be included, you have a choice) and lunch included. Transfers airport- Tikal National Park- airport are also included but apply to certain flights only. We must know whether you will be on the flights for which these transfers are applicable or not. Our shuttle departs from the Mundo Maya International Airport at 9 a.m. & leaves Tikal at 2 p.m. sharp. If not applicable you will need private transportation we may gladly arrange on your behalf. The museum visit, which is a self guided tour and is included only if you took the option including the park entrance fee, is scheduled for 2 p.m. but if you need to take the shuttle back to the airport at this time you would need to ask for a packed lunch and not miss the museum, which you would visit at 1 p.m. on your own.

PRICE PER PERSON:  US$ 65 - This tour is a group tour in English valid until June 30th, 2008. If there are 3 of you it is always best to ask about our Archaeology & Nature Tour of Tikal, which is a private tour with a professional guide. Please see the section below.

Starting on July 1st, 2008 the price for this group tour is US$ 89.38 per person including park and museum entrance fees. The price for this tour in either English or Spanish, but without park and museum entrance fees, is US$ 54.60 per person.

Our birding tour of Tikal is simply the best you can get in Tikal, but you cannot sign up for it there. You need to reserve our guide in advance and the suggested times for this tour are at 5:30 a.m. or at 2:30 p.m. the tour, which takes 3 and a half hours, includes the following:

• Bird observation in Tikal, one of the best possible in the region, with a professional birding guide. There are more than 410 species of birds at Tikal. This tour may be within the archaeological park, or around the main water reservoir, at selected roosting and nesting sites. Therefore, we provide you with 2 options: the prices with and without park entrance fee included. We will operate this tour starting with ne person, but we recommend a minimum of 4 people. Our tour alone, without the park entrance fee is US$ 108.33
