Arrival early in the morning into the Mundo Maya International Airport from Belize City.  Our driver will pick you up and take you to the Tikal National Park, where you will have a guided tour with a professional guide. He will share interesting information about this ancient civilization with you.  After lunch you will visit the Sylannus G. Morley Museum.  At 2 p.m. transfer from Tikal National Park to airport for your flight back to Belize City. (Please note that this price isn't listed because it depends on the number of sign-ups and the size of the group. Day 1: Arrival early in the morning in the Santa Elena’s International Airport from Belize City.  Our drivers will pick you up and will take you to The Tikal National Park, where you will have a guided tour of Tikal with a professional guide, who shares with you interesting information about this old civilization.  After lunch you will visit the Sylannus G.  Morley Museum.  The Morley’s museum is a small building, close to the parking area where some of Tikal's most valuable treasures are kept. You can see the sunset position on your own over Temple IV. Overnight at Tikal Inn or Jungle Lodge.

Day 2: Early morning start is optional for a birdwatching tour with a professional guide. Packed breakfast will be provided. There are 410 species in the Tikal National Park. Tikal is the largest excavated site in the American continent.  It is Guatemala's most famous cultural and natural preserve.  Tikal possesses a certain magic... Like all puzzles without answers it fascinates everyone and we dare say... Tikal is so irresistible once you are there, you'll find yourself wanting to stay just a little longer!  After lunch transfer to Santa Elena’s international airport for your flight back to Belize City.

NOTES: Since Nov. 16th, 2007, for the time being and until further notice we are only operating tours from Belize by land, as Belizean airlines are getting their paperwork up to date to fly into Guatemalan airports again, which are being upgraded to category 1 airports. We hope they will be fully operational again soon.

Day 1: Transfer from Belize City to the ancient Maya Ceremonial site of Tikal, in Guatemala. Upon arrival transfer to Tikal.  This archaeological gem comprises 586 square kilometers of jungle all around the ceremonial center. If you love birdwatching with a passion Tikal is the place to be.  To the not modest list of residents, North American songbirds may be added, as they love to make Tikal their home during the cold winter months.  There are 410 species of birds at Tikal alone. Day 2 : Breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast guided tour of Tikal with a Professional guide. Tikal is the largest excavated site in the Americas.  It took the University of Pennsylvania 13 years to uncover about 10 square miles of structure after structure at Tikal.  However, much of it is left still to be unearthed… The site’s monumental architecture is truly the grandest in the Maya World… Tikal was an important ceremonial and economic center for almost 2 centuries, before being abandoned by the Maya more than one thousand years ago.  Lunch at your hotel.  After lunch, Visit the Sylvannus G. Morley Museum, that houses some of the artifact’s found by world famous Mayan Scholars.
