ONE DAY TOUR OF TIKAL BY BUS STARTING IN GUATEMALA CITY

Day 1- Overnight bus transfer to Santa Elena Bus Station from Guatemala City

  At 8 p.m. check in at the indicated bus station in Guatemala City for a 9 p.m. departure to Santa Elena (Flores) in northern Guatemala. This service consists of VIP and Plus+ class ground transportation with a Luxury bus (with comfortable fully reclining or partially reclining bed-seats).

Day 2- ONE DAY TOUR OF TIKAL and check in for bus transfer back to Guatemala City

  Arrival into Santa Elena's bus terminal at 6 a.m. (approximately). Transfer on your own to have coffee and breakfast on your own on Flores Island before departure to Tikal (we may add private transportation at an additional cost if needed*). Check in for your transfer to Tikal at 7:30 a.m. You will go to the airport, where more participants will join you for the day tour of Tikal and where you will need to purchase your park entrance fees in case you haven't bought them already. Ground transportation with your tour group to the Tikal National Park at 8 a.m. Our guided visit of the Tikal National Park with a professional guide starts at the park at 10 a.m. Our one day tour includes lunch (without beverages) at Tikal, as well as ground transportation from Tikal back to Flores Island at 4 p.m. Park entrance fee not included. Free time on your own to discover the Island city of Flores from 5 pm onward on your own, as well as to have dinner on your own before your departure by bus back to Guatemala City. Please note that you will need to make sure you are back at the bus station on time to check in for you bus transfer back to Guatemala City at 8 p.m. (or we may add private transportation if you prefer, at an additonal cost*). Your bus leaves at 9 p.m.

Day 3- Arrival into Guatemala City very early in the morning

  Arrival into downtown Guatemala City's bus station at about 5:30 a.m. depending on traffic. (Onward private ground transportation to Antigua or Lake Atitlan is available and may be included at an additional cost, if needed).

  This tour is US$ 252 per person* not including your park entrance fees or beverages (with lunch). Dinners are not included adn neither are breakfasts (both are on your own account).  are included with our pricing. This one day tour is really a 2 night tour with a full day in between (Day 2) to do our one day tour of Tikal. So, this option begins at 8 p.m. on Day 1 and ends back in Guatemala City at 5:30 or 6 a.m. on Day 3. This is a great alternative to flying and a prime money-saving option for budget conscious travelers...

*Transportation from the bus station in Santa Elena to Flores Island and from Flores back to the bus station is not included, but may be added.
