Tikal is the largest excavated site in the American continent. It is Guatemala's most famous cultural and natural preserve. Tikal possesses a certain magic... Like all puzzles without answers it fascinates everyone and we dare say... Tikal is so irresistible once you are here, you'll find yourself wanting to stay just a little longer!

This majestic archaeological gem comprises 222 square miles of jungle all around the ceremonial center. It took the University of Pennsylvania 13 years to uncover about 10 square miles of structures at Tikal. However, much of it is still left to be unearthed. So, do take some advice... Don't try to see all of Tikal in one day, even if you are in excellent shape!.

Complex Q Tikal is a twin pyramid complex, built by the Maya of Tikal, and rarely found in other archaeological sites. The stella / altar compound may be observed in front of a truncated pyramid in Tikal's Complex Q...

Our hotel is located in the heart of the Peten subtropical rainforest... and adjacent to an important protected area: the Cerro Cahui Biotope Reserve, where the Ocellated Turkey's habitat is afforded effective protection. This wild endemic species is one of 450+ bird species found in the area.

For your reference at the Camino Real Tikal the price for an american breakfast is US$ 23.79 and US$ 33.70 for lunch or dinner. These prices include taxes and tips.

These are 2020 rates. Our prices include 22% taxes. Ask for our prices during the high season, as we have a 3 night minimum stay during Easter Week (April 11th- April 14th, 2020) and between December 29th, 2020 and January 2nd, 2021.
